This blog was started to keep my family and friends updated while I was living in Japan. It was formerly titled La Bohemienne.
In distancing myself to other continents I found that there’s nothing I’d rather have than what I was running from. I’d like to write about that journey. My grandma’s been bugging me to do it forever, and now I’m finally ready to share it.

I enjoyed seeing your site and Reeds. I was suprised to be named and photographed there! I arrive in Tokyo 6/11 and well be in Japan till the end of the month. Maybe we can all jungle up somewhere with Yumiko. I’ll see you both in July for Aaron’s wedding. Cheers, Jim AKA: Mister Mac
