My So Real Life @ 30

Well, it used to be mostly about Japan, but was always about me.

Bonjour, tout le monde! February 10, 2006

Et voila, j’ai un blog. Vous-pouvez lire les detailes de ma vie.
I guess I could write this in English.
So here it is, and now I have a blog. That seems to be the proper start.
It’s called the bohemien because that’s what I am. The last four years of my life have been centered around travel. I like to think of myself as a nomad, mostly because I like that the name reminds me of the Berber, or the Bedouin. But I am not that nomadic. I’m just not the kind of person who can call one location her home. It’s been like that for most of my life now. To put things into perspective, I attended five highschools, that’s how much my parents moved around. Two of those places were Belize and Guatemala. No, I’m not an army brat, and no my parents weren’t missionaries. They just wanted to try and live somewhere else. No, they weren’t hippies either.
Now I am heading off to Japan. I’ve recently received a certificate that allows me to teach English for a living. Thankfully I’m with someone who likes to travel as much as I do, and likes the idea of living abroad. I will be meeting him in Gunma, in four days. His name is Reed, you can check out his adventures at monkeyrobotarmy.com.
Bon, c’est tout.
A la prochaine
